“I’ve been here eleven years. Probably the nicest thing about this place is the location. There is a Ralph’s across the street, around the corner there is a cleaners, there are restaurants, including a great Thai restaurant, Denny’s, IHOP, Panda Express, you can get anything around here, it’s really good. It’s also a nice place to walk. The people are generally very nice people here. The owners are lovely. They more or less let you be yourself as long as you don’t step on anyone else’s toes. My thing is sowing. I have a nice roommate who crochets hats. And I do alterations for everybody. I’m 72 years old and I’m a veteran. We have two lady veterans. I’m one of them and the other one is 89 and truly outstanding. We have a lot of activities and new activities director, Denise. She’s really unbelievable. She puts on auctions, bingo, other games, and takes us on trips. Everyday she’s got something new. I really have nothing bad to say. I don’t think I’d change anything because the new owners have really done marvelous things. They refurbished everything and I love it.“ – Resident of Olive Branch Assisted Living
